eChoices
Kindergarten and 5th-grade families, the eChoices application window opens up on Monday, October 2nd. All Kindergarten students must apply through the eChoices portal in order to attend 1st grade at Lomita STEAM Magnet. 5th-grade families must do the same to attend a magnet middle school.
HOW DO I APPLY AND HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
- The eChoices application and brochure are online at http://echoices.lausd.net
- Submit a new application if the child's name remained on a waiting list last school year, if your child is culminating (from elementary to middle school), or if you would like to change to another program.
- You may apply to as many Choices programs as you like.
- Do not submit a new application if your child is currently enrolled at Lomita STEAM Magnet and you wish to continue enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.
- If selected, parents/guardian may accept or decline online or by calling the school. If the parent/guardian does not respond by the deadline, it is considered a decline. Declines are final.
- You may only accept one Choices placement.
