Lomita Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math Magnet is an innovative place for 21st Century Learners! Our students strive for academic excellence using collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. We emphasize Balanced Literacy, Hands-on Project Based Learning, and Digital Citizenship. Every student is empowered with a one-to-one Apple 6th Generation iPad.Our goal is to provide meaningful earning experiences and opportunities that maximize every student's potential.

Our Mission

We aim to educate students of diverse backgrounds to effectively communicate while cooperating with others, gather and use information intelligently, and make responsible decisions. In addition to balance literacy, students will be exposed to a rigorous curriculum with special emphasis in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
